“Bordered by France, Belgium and Luxemburg…” What nonsense. If some first-time traveler from Iowa had said that, I would just smile, but from a person speaking on behalf of Lonely Planet? Germany constitutes more than 50% of the Dutch border…oops, I was too busy looking at the canals and getting married. Amsterdam is in HOLLAND, and Holland is in Europe. Geography isn’t big Down under? Jeezus…. The comments about visiting versus actually living in a big tourist city are correct.

Amsterdam is a fucking cool and very beautifull city! I grew up in a shitty village and used to hate the Netherlands too, moving to Amsterdam was the best thing to do…

Amsterdam is the best city in Europe, my favorite from my eurotrip.
And I do like the video, that´s how I feel the city as well.

Stupid, apparently there’s no border with Germany, but a magical one with France now…the whole city is built on water. She fails to mention that if you’re between 18 and 40, you will be offered drugs at least once every 15 minutes. See the rest of the country, Utrecht is much prettier, Delft is also much nicer
