I drove cabs about 8 years ago and would not suggest it for anyone as long term job and i wouldn’t suggest driving the night shift at weekends unless you can take very good care of yourself as the violence towards cab drivers in brisbane has risen dramatically over the years. If you have held your OPEN drivers licence for more than 3 years apply to drive buses for the Brisbane city council as a casual they earn about $25 hourly and they train you to get your bus licence and pay you while you learn.
