Well i hear that the fee at the start is LE 2.5 -> this doesn’t include any distance to be covered. After that LE 1.25 for every KM covered.

nope matnasabsh 3aleeky, i take taxi to my job for 5 or 6 pounds, i payed 8.5 for the white taxi

The same used to happened to me when I lived in Egypt. I used to take the Yellow cab called “city cab” and the 3adad used to start at 2.50 every time.

Hey there go away (no pun intended…. that’s yr nickname)
Ok… this is from a taxi driver, he said that they all start at 2.50, but then after that they have 3 settings starting from 1.25 every Km to 2.5….. the thing is, people won’t know the setting unless its yr usual distance using the same cab company, the white one or the yellow one or whatever other color they come up with.
AND>>>>>> its all up to the driver to decide, like on a day that he needs more cash(or maybe de doesn’t like el zeboun…lol), he ups the meter and other days when he is in a good mood it stays at the minimum!! We heya dee el fahlawa el masreya (lelasaf!!)
