lol My first travel experience was in Germany with my mom when I was 12 visiting relatives. I caught the travel bug then. It’s always been a passion.

I like 90% of what he says, but I don’t like his excess of ‘Kumbaya’ spirits that gets almost apologetic for Westerns being rich, educated and developed.

Thank you for making this lecture available! It was thought provoking, entertaining and (in some small way), transformative for me.

Google or search wikipedia for “List_of_most_charitable_countries”

America gives the most because you are the largest country with the biggest GDP. But relatively speaking, you are the 19th most charitable country.

Great lecture. I like the non-judgmental approach. To some people who immediately turn off and flip to defensive mode it may seem like Rick is saying Europe’s better, but he isn’t. He’s showing you that there is a different way. Not better, but different. Think about it, use your head and vote with it.

Best lecture I’ve listen to in a long time. Having traveled extensively myself, I relate so much of what you touched upon. I was also dragged to Europe like yourself, but as a military dependent. I spent 11 wonderful years there and I can’t wait to move back to Europe permanently. Your travel show helps us to temporarily escape our daily lives, and bring back so many memories. Thank you Rick. Hope to run into you one day in Europe.

Yes, Rick, Americans work more and they also give more when other countries need help! So, indeed, God bless America because what other country is going to work to have so they can give to those in need?
