It is cheaper to rent a car like AVIS. Taxis charge a high price and a lot are even not in good condition.

Well for one, you will be needing TWO taxis every time you commute cos the maximum taxi passenger is FOUR and there are a lot of cops in Makati who will be happy to pull you in cos they want “kotong” IF you get a taxi driver who’ll let you ride his car that is. Another thing, won’t it be a hassle for you to commute or even go in and out of the malls when you’re carrying shopping bags? Waiting in line for taxis will also consume your time.
A van rental for a day can be as low as P2500 without gas but with a driver, go with that.
