    @TaylorSfan1977 For example if a Canadian like you ignorantly says you don`t have an accent, then an Australian meets you, he`s going to say jeez you sound different to me, you have an accent, you don`t speak english like I do, therefore you have an accent. Everyone who speaks the english language has an accent. You THINK you speak “normal“ but to people in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, South Africa etc, you have an accent. Face it you`re making yourself sound like an idiot.

    I was in Ontario and everyone we talked to they said we have an accent and im like WE DO NOT HAVE AN ACCENT!

    Listen bye’s, I’ll tell you! Me I been here in Ontario for 10 years and I only talks like dat when I’m talkin to anodder newf. I works ‘ard suppressing me accent cause nobody understands me when I talks normal. Me hubby says when I gets on da phone wit me mudder he dont have no clue what all we is talkin about (he’s from Ontario, you see). I loves Newfoundland and I wishes I could move back home tomorrow.
